COVID-19 Salgınında Emniyet Çalışanlarının Stres Algı Düzeyinin Kas İskelet Sistemi Ağrılarına Etkisi

Amaç: Bu çalışmada, COVID 19 salgın sürecinde emniyet çalışanlarında kas iskelet sistemi ağrıları ile algılanan stres düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek amaçlanmıştır.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmaya 2019 yılının Nisan ayında aktif olarak görev yapan farklı statü ve birimde görev alan gönüllü erkek (83,6%) ve kadın (16,4%) 116 emniyet çalışanı katıldı. Kas iskelet sistemi rahatsızlıklarını sorgulamak amacıyla “Genişletilmiş Nordic Kas İskelet Sistemi Anketi”, algılanan stresi belirlemek amacıyla Algılanan Stres Ölçeği kullanıldı. Demografik bilgiler ile salgın sürecine ilişkin tanımlayıcı sorulardan oluşan Demografik Bilgi Formu kullanıldı..
Sonuçlar: Algılanan stres düzeyi ile son 12 ay ağrı, son 12 ay ağrıdan kaynaklı iş engeli ve son 7 gün ağrı varlığı karşılaştırıldığında sadece son 12 aydaki diz ağrısı varlığı ile algılanan stres düzeyi arasında anlamlı ilişki bulundu (p=0,030).
Tartışma: COVID-19 salgınında son 12 aydaki diz ağrısı varlığı ile algılanan stres arasında pozitif bir ilişki olduğu noktasında literatüre katkı sağladığını düşünmekteyiz.
